Meebun Day Use Area

Home Things To Do Meebun Day Use Area

The Meebun Day Use Area (located off Beaudesert-Boonah Road) is a popular picnic spot. Facilities include picnic tables, shelters, and barbeques. There is also a playground to keep the kids amused.

It is also a great starting point for paddling, bushwalking, mountain biking and horse riding.

As the area is only serviced by tank water, we recommend visitors bring their own drinking water supplies.

Boating is a very popular activity at Lake Wyaralong. Electric powered watercraft, sail craft and paddle craft are permitted on the lake. You can fish from the shoreline or your vessel – just remember a fishing permit is required.

For your safety and to protect the riparian areas around the lake, boats and vessels are only to be operated from the designated launch point. A boat ramp is located at the Meebun Day Use Area.

Download the Lake Wyaralong Recreation Guide for detailed information about activities, as well as a map and important safety information.
