Upcoming works
Various environmental surveys will be carried out along Teviot Road and Bushland Road, including:
- Ecology surveys including walkovers, cameras and spotlighting to check for the presence of wildlife
- Water sampling
- Placing small air-DNA filters in roadside trees to check for the presence of wildlife
- Wildlife detection dogs to check for the presence of wildlife.
The surveys will run from Monday 8 December to Friday 19 December 2025 (weather and conditions permitting), with the majority taking place between the hours of 7am and 5pm and some night works between the hours of 5pm and 9pm.
What can I expect?
- Works completed within public road reserve and publicly accessible bushland and creek corridors
- Teams of 2 to 4 ecologists using 4WD vehicles to travel between survey sites
- Night works including non-invasive use of cameras and spotlighting (checking for presence of wildlife).
