GATED DAMS:
Operational releases from Somerset Dam into Wivenhoe Dam are planned to commence Sunday 1 June 2025 and will continue over the coming week. These low flow releases are not expected to cause the lake level in Wivenhoe Dam to increase by more than 0.5 metres. in the next 24 hour period.
Operational releases are common to balance the lake levels across Somerset and Wivenhoe Dams.
