McGavin View Park will be temporarily closed for public access from the 13 to 31 July 2026 to enable geotech investigation works to be safely conducted.
During this closure the following recreation areas around Lake Samsonvale will remain open:
- Tukuwompa Park
- Bullocky Rest
- Forgan Park
- Forgan Cove
- Kobble Creek
- Postman’s Track Trails
