From Wednesday 26 August to Friday 28 August 2026, temporary traffic holds of up to 15 minutes will be required at McGavin View Park to enable the safe movement of anchor strands for the North Pine Dam Staged Strengthening Project. 

Traffic holds are expected to occur only a small number of times each day during the work hours of 6:00am to 6:00pm. 

McGavin View Park will remain open, and parking will continue to be available. During the temporary traffic holds, recreation users may experience short delays to pedestrian and vehicle movements. Traffic controllers will be on site to manage access and assist park users.
