Lake Moogerah is temporarily closed for swimming and water skiing due to recent significant rainfall into the catchment and resulting inflows which may affect water quality.

The closure will remain in place for the next three days and be reassessed on Monday 26 October 2026. Please note any further significant rainfall could extend the closure period.
