Lake Moogerah is temporarily closed to all water activities including boating, paddle craft, swimming and water skiing. This is due to the recent significant rainfall into the catchment and resulting inflows which may affect water quality, as well as the resulting water flowing over the spillway. 

The lake will re-open as soon as it is safe to do so.
