Mick Hanfling Park at Lake Kurwongbah will be temporarily closed from Monday 13 July to Wednesday 16 September 2026 whilst we deliver significant upgrade works to the site.

Works include road widening, improved vehicle access, amenity block upgrades, water access improvements and drainage works. To safely complete the works, Mick Hanfling Park will be closed whilst the works are completed.

An alternate location during the closure for paddle craft access is located at Forgan Cove, Lake Samsonvale.
