The Whites Road trail at Hinze Dam will be temporarily closed from Wednesday 18 to Monday 23 June 2025 due to a planned burn.

Seqwater is conducting the prescribed burn in consultation with Queensland Fire and Emergency Services.

Smoke may drift into surrounding areas and stay around for up to two weeks after the burn period.

If you are visiting the area, please remain vigilant and follow the directions of staff and signage on-site.
