Not sure about a traineeship?

One of our trainees, Nick, recently worked on a major environmental offset project at Hinze Dam.

Here's what some of our other participants (past and present) have to say about our programs.

Zack - Trainee Ranger

Zack - Trainee Ranger

I completed my two year traineeship as a Field Ranger based at Ewen Maddock Dam and Lake Macdonald.  The traineeship gave me the opportunity to gain knowledge in Conservation and Land Management, but also allowed me to grow personally. I like working at Seqwater because it’s a friendly almost family like environment that look out for you and are very safety minded team.

Evelyn - Trainee Operator Supply

Evelyn - Trainee Operator Supply

Throughout my traineeship with Seqwater, I have been taught how to operate several water treatment plants to supply clean and safe drinking water to the community every day. I would like to encourage everyone who is considering applying for a traineeship to do so. It has been such a great opportunity to learn new skills and knowledge. Everyone in the organisation has been extremely supportive to ensure I gain the most knowledge and experience out of my traineeship.

Robbie - Graduate Engineer (Civil)

Robbie - Graduate Engineer (Civil)

Having worked in a variety of roles, I have developed an appreciation for the different capabilities our organisation provides ranging from long term water security planning to flood operations and community engagement. I have been able to challenge myself technically and further develop my professional competencies through a supportive team environment along the way. Most importantly, by being able to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders I have been able to make a difference not only within my organisation but to 3.1 million drinking water customers across the South East Queensland region part of a great team.
