Statement of Obligations
The Statement of Obligations outlines the overarching obligations of Seqwater in meeting the expectations, expressed as guiding principles, of the responsible Queensland Government Ministers. The Statement has been issued under the South East Queensland Water (Restructuring) Act 2007. It states Seqwater’s core business and area of operations as defined in the Water Act 2000.
Seqwater must report our compliance with the Statement in our quaterly reports to the Ministers, with a detailed report in 1 April to 30 June quaterly report.

The Queensland Government has announced an 'open data revolution', with the aim of releasing as much Government data as possible to encourage other sectors to develop innovative new services and solutions. Seqwater has developed an Open Data Strategy in response to this initiative.
