Seqwater will be replacing what’s called a barrel union joint (dismantling joint) on a section of underground bulk water pipeline along Fletcher Parade, near Beatrice Street, Bardon starting Saturday 6 May 2017.

Work will start at 6am on Saturday 6 May and take about 24 hours to complete, subject to weather conditions and other unexpected delays.

Construction equipment will include a vehicle mounted crane, trucks and utility vehicles, welding tools and a cut saw, generators and flood lights (for night work).

Noisy work will be conducted during the day where possible to minimise disruption to local residents. Traffic management will be in place for the duration of the work. Work is not expected to interrupt your water supply.

If you are in the area, please follow the instructions of signage and our workers at all times, and do not pass any barriers or fencing.
