Billies Bay and Hays Landing recreation areas will be closed until further notice from Monday 7 August 2023. 

The current load limit on the Hine Road bridge, which is used to access these areas, means that emergency and maintenance vehicles cannot safely access the site. This closure ensures the safety of our staff, visitors, and the public. 

Alternative boat ramps are located at Logan’s Inlet and Hamon Cove, which are approximately half an hour’s drive away.
