Lake Somerset (including The Spit, Somerset Park, Kirkleagh and Westvale Road) has been re-opened for all water-based activities including swimming, skiing, boating, fishing and paddling.

Visitors are reminded to please play it safe and exercise caution when in (or on) the water, as conditions may have changed as a result of recent inflows. Only swim in designated areas, and when on board a vessel, always wear your lifejacket - it can save your life.
