Seqwater will be conducting a fish count in Lake Samsonvale (North Pine Dam) and the Pine River from early September 2023 to late October 2023.

Our team will use electrofishing to complete the count. This technique does not permanently harm the fish or other wildlife.

During this time, you might see our team on the lake or in the North Pine River, and fish temporarily on the lake surface while the count is completed.

The count will occur during business hours and is not expected to cause disruption to recreation.
