Parameters used in Calculating Announced Allocations
Formula for AA High
- 100% when the combined percentage of useable volume in storage of Wivenhoe and Somerset dams is greater than or equal to 25%
- When the combined percentage of useable volume in storage of Wivenhoe and Somerset dams is less than 25% the AA High must be calculated using the following formula as set out in s78 of the Moreton Resource Operations Plan:
AAHPA = ((UV-(AAMPxMPA)+DIVHPA+DIVMP)/HPAA) x 100
Parameters for AA High calculation
The following parameters were used in calculating the current AA High:
| UV (Useable Volume) | 1,119,413 ML |
| AAMP (Medium Priority Announced Allocations) | 100 % |
| MPA (Medium Priority Water Allocations) | 7,041 ML |
| DIVHPA (High Priority Diversion) | 0 |
| DIVMP (Medium Priority Diversions) | 0 |
| HPAA (High Priority A Water Allocations) | 279,000 ML |
Formula for AA Medium
- As per column 2 of the following table corresponding to the combined percentage of useable volume in storage of Wivenhoe and Somerset dams in column 1.
| Combined Percentage of Useable Volume in Storage of Wivenhoe and Somerset Dams
(CPUVS)
|
Announced Allocation for Medium Priority Water Allocations (AAMP)
(% of nominal volume)
|
| 0%-14.9% | 0% |
| 15%-24.9% | 15% |
| 25%-29.9% | 25% |
| 30%-34.9% | 40% |
| 35%-39.9% | 55% |
| 40%-44.9% | 70% |
| 45%-49.9% | 85% |
| 50%-100% | 100% |
- The combined percentage of useable volume in storage of Wivenhoe and Somerset dams must be calculated using the following formula as set out in s77 of the Moreton Resource Operations Plan:
CPUVS = ((UVWivenhoe + UVSomerset)/CUFSV) x 100
Parameters for AA Medium calculation
The following parameters were used in calculating the current AA High:
| UVWivenhoe (Useable Volume) | 813,823 ML |
| UVSomerset (Useable Volume) | 305,590 ML |
| CUFSV (Combined Useable Full Supply Volume) | 87% |
