Moogerah Dam provides irrigation supplies to riparian landholders along Reynolds Creek and, through a series of diversions, also supplies water to Warrill Creek and Warrill Valley farmers. Public access to enter Mt Edwards National Park and beautification of the picnic areas around the dam have made the dam a tourist attraction.
